An absolutely captivating movie, The Fall is my favorite film of all time (so far). The imagery is jaw-dropping-ly beautiful; a story within a story, a fantasy within a personal tragedy, a heartbreak within an epic vision of a child’s colorful imagination. The locations are pure art and beauty. The costumes and colors are a feast for the viewer’s eyes and the music! Oh, the music! Everything about this film is a magical treat meant to enchant and treat all the senses. I can’t say enough about this movie. You will either totally love it as I do, or you will react as has everyone I have shown it to, and look at me as though I have lost my mind. If loving this enthralling work of art is insanity, then lock me up, but make sure I have a tv, a DVD player and a recoding of The Fall.
