This is an amaaaazing book! It helped me get over my reading slump for real. It was pretty outside the genre of books I usually read, never go for biographies that often. But this book didn't feel like a biography. It felt like a beautiful story. A child, an adult, a husband, a father and then a grandfather- we get to see Sridhar Das in all these different avatars, and each of these phases have been portrayed so beautifully by Samragngi! I loved the childhood part the most! It continues to be my favorite. And the grandfather's recollections, memories coming back at the end of the novel literally made me cry my eyes out. 😠The descriptions are so so so pretty and emotional! Not getting over this book any time soon!
