I really enjoyed this film and found it great entertainment. Yes, there were bits that were totally over the top, but I was pleased to read that tornado scientists who consulted on the film thought they had done a good job and also, the Director, who grew up in Oklahoma, had been fascinated by tornadoes since childhood. I wasn’t concerned about character development or lack thereof. I went to see a film about storm chasers! We learned not to shelter under a highway overpass and do not shelter in a vehicle; even trucks the size of B Doubles get tossed around like toys in those winds.
