The book was better, MUCH better. Was hopeful for the movie. Was greatly disappointed. A lot was left out from the book that would have given context and some punch to events depicted in the movie. The actors for Milton, Jumpin, and Mabel did a good job. The others did their best, but probably were not the best ones for those characters. This might be a B or C version of movies seen on Lifetime, Hallmark, or similar channels. Would not recommend, and would not see again even if asked and someone else was paying.
