This is a great movie honouring the Rescue Swimmers of the Coastguard. Kevin Costner is perfectly cast and Ashton Kutcher also well cast. People need to get over the 'Top Gun' comparisons. It's its own movie in its own right and tells a great story of a selfless job. The title didn't do it any favours though, probably should have been called 'So others may live' (Coastguard motto) or something referring more obviously to the Coastguard.
