The How to Train Your Dragon animated movies are by far my favorite movies ever made and I absolutely cannot recommend the live action. Granted, I figured that they would add and change some stuff but not to the extent that they did. None of the scenes had the same emotion that the animated had. Could have definitely picked different actors for multiple roles aswell. I didnt even make it the whole way through the movie and left to go home and watch the original. I'm sure most would say that I'm being really harsh but as the saying goes "If it aint broke, dont fix it". Go ahead and make a live action but dont make it as different; they added way too much, deleted entire scenes, some of the sets looked horrible and not to mention that the dialogue timing with it's respective scene was very different in many cases. I'm really curious as to how different it would have been if someone like James Cameron would have been the producer instead.
