Obi Wan hasn't really caught my interest so far. Obi has been the only reason I have still watched.
They show fairly well how the Clone Wars and Anakins betrayel of him and the Jedi has completely broken him. How he gets through this we shall see.
What I don't like are the supporting characters.
The Insotors are all very poor actors. Sombrero guy looks stiff and is very unconvincing. Whatever the other sister is I dont think has been said yet but is very forgettable . The Grand Inquisitor isn't very menacing and letting the 3rd sister get the drop on him was just totally unbelievable. Given thetimeline he didn't die until Star Wars Rebels and was a master at keeping the others in line. The 3rd sisterhas some personal vendetta against Obi and having it not explained or even hinted at has ruined her for me. Plus the fact that she killed the Grand Inquisitor.
The knowledge that the 3rd sister knows who Darth Vader is is ludicrous. As far as I know from reading the books, seeing all the shows and other sources Darth Vader identity was a closely held secrete by both sides. The Emperors' because he didnt want his Apprentice to be known as a former Jedi, it would weaken his position and he is all about power.
The Jedi for the reason that it would tarnish what reputation they had left and possibly turn more of the remaining Jedi to the dark side.
The 3rd sister so far is another Ray, all powerful and all knowing with no reasonable story to back it up.
I really liked the Rebel/Emperial officer and her story of basically and underground railroad. The names carved into the wall was a good touch. Hearing the first female Stormtrooper was great!
The mining planet was rather dull until they were caught, there was nothing there to make me believe is was a mining planet and the Stormtroopers walking in the middle of nowhere searching for a Jedi was dumb. There were hills all around they could of looked for miles in any direction. No support vehicles either a downer.
My favorite scene was Vader pulling Obi through the fire and say this was payback. Vader was a little disappointing though. He seemed to be ahead of Obi when he can't move that fast.
Overall I'm not that impressed. I was looking forward to seeing more SW content directed by Chow because her Mando episodes were awesome. This though is kind of blah.
So I guess we will see how it goes.
