Jessamine Chan I love you and dislike you in equal measures for making me fall for Frida and then ripping my heart out! That said, a brilliant book, with very thought provoking commentaries on racism, classism and sexism which define the mothers’ outcomes within this captivating book. DAMN lady, no happy ending in sight for anyone though? I still have huge respect.
