I don't know many actors who can make a character like Evelyn Jones "likeable". She is actually very loathesome, yet Asher Keddie makes me like her. I am also genuinely concerned for myself because I find Evelyn Jones totally relateable - with the exception of the lies. They tend to roll off her tongue.
And definitely not a fan of the tampon in the handbag - that was just grotty.
The entire cast hold their own, script is tight, storylines are quirky, great editing and directing. I am looking forward to Season 2.
