I wish I could say I was surprised by the amount of hate this documentary is getting. But, just like one of the main ideas of the documentary, Meghan is a target for hate. All of the misinterpreted reviewers don't get the point. Meghan and Harry are just sharing their story, which they have every right to. Props to them.
One minute everyone loves them, the next the public is threatening their lives. They have been through a lot. A miscarriage, a fallout between a father and daughter, drama between brothers, comparisons of in-laws, incredible amounts of hate, stalking, depression, their grandparents dying. They have been betrayed by people in the institution and people that they once thought were close to them. And they still do so much work for the public good. What more do we want from them?
They have a right to privacy, they have a right to tell their story and even monetize it if they want to! I am in awe of their dignity and graciousness. I hope that they can find their peace after all of this and hopefully are able to stay in their own little bubble, away from the media. It has caused them so much more harm than good.
