Back then when SRK make this, its was something new and fresh to the Indian Cinema, this theme is not a very popular or well accepted yet, the same thing happen when SRK make Asoka, in my personal opinion, SRK always think out of box before the real deal is on the plate. Back to the Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, although the movie lacking something compare to nowdays which is have more thrilling story line, but still it was a well made for early 2000s movie. I think if the movie is made now, it will be more appreciated and well receive by audience
