The look is right, the cinematography was well done & keeping things moving in these intersecting stories of locals in a Long Island beach town the summer of 1982.
Some of the characters are really pretty fun, but no surprises in where the storylines are going.
Occasionally annoying dialougue when terms like 'homie', "empty-nester", "singer-songwriter" pop up. They weren't part of the vernacular then. And Terry's song sounds like it was written in 2018, but hey - it probably was.
Ed Burns has come a long way as an actor, easily filling the shoes a widowed dad. Overall, it's an easy watch with a lot of great automotive eye-candy!
