There have been a lot of people who have said they didn't like Halo: Reach because of the depressing tone, and say that it should be more fast paced. These people have a point, because the Halo franchise is mostly fast paced, but not Reach. The Fall of Reach was not an action packed battlefield, but a short and depressing fall. The theme of sacrifice is one of my favorite parts of Reach. The way Noble Team's deaths are all sacrificial in nature (Except Kat, but that's what you get for being such an awful driver and running me over and killing me well more than ten times.) perfectly portray the true nature of battles like Reach. The slower paced combat also has an in-universe reason, as Noble Six is a Spartan III, making him less effective than the Spartan IIs like Master Chief. The campaign is brilliant and chalanging, and the Abilities is multiplayer add a level of stratagy that was not present in the preveious Halo titles. Overall, great game. 8/10
