If you read the book, you will barely recognize the story. They changed most of the plot line and even the back story of Lisberhโs history; All done for no obvious reason. In doing so, they destroyed the whole story. No wonder it got such bad reviews. I really donโt understand why the screen writers do this or why the author allows it. Many times the changes make no sense what so ever; it is as though they are changing things just for the hell of it. As for this movie, if you didnโt read the book, you were probably more confused as to the story than those that read it because they changed and left out so much it was almost impossible to follow the plot line. When a popular book is adapted for a movie, most people are going to the movie to see that story, the one they read, be brought to life. So, there is already a good story; why change it?
