To those who praise this series, have you read the book, have you read any other works by Dickens? I can only assume the answer is no! The entire series was wrong, characterisation poor and story altered out of all recognition, call it something original and leave poor Dicken's masterpiece unadulterated and in its original form. I recognise that a little dramatic licence is necessary occasionally, but this version is, to be honest so dreadfully off beam. So for those of you who thought this was good, go and do some reading and if you have read this wonderful classic, I pity you for your bad taste.
