Quite enjoyable movie! The concept was great, it’s just the whole story arc is too simple. It could have been much more interesting movie. Maybe even great movie! (It’s just some much more could’ve been done with this concept). Regardless - it’s not bad as some say imo, Depends on your expectations. My expectations were for not sophisticated action movie in some dystopian future - and that’s exactly what I got! I guess I would relate this movie (in general feel, style, “complexity” of the plot) to the likes of Island, minority report, ....can’t think of anything else, but I hope you get the idea. This is what you can expect. If you find those kind of movies too unbelievable to the point you can’t enjoy them - pass on this one, but if you ok with those type of movies, I think you will enjoy In Time.

Very unique movie. It was weird, because it had some very very bad scenes (subjectively!), followed by very very good scenes. its like 2 movies in one. In the end though, its one of my favorite movies. it might not be genius, it might not be hollywood (which is not a bad thing actually - it depends on your preference), but refreshing, unique, and memorable - it is.

a pleasant surprise indeed! It’s a solid movie in this genre/concept. The idea is not new, but the execution was great - well acted, well scripted. Wheather you like it or not - it’s down to personal taste.

The critics probably did not watch the movie till the end (lets give it a term "Express-Review"). The thing is the movie does have some stylistic choices that are subjectively cringe inducing, especially in the beginning. but, as you progress with the movie those moments are forgotten and forgiven. Also, those moments could very well be intentional, i can't tell as im not familiar with source material (the graphic novel). Overall its a great, unique movie that i will definitely remember and hold in high regard actually. I do want a sequel, and i never gonna listen to critics ever again. Its a shame that this movie got such low reviews. especially compared to other 'highly praised' movies, especially netflix ones, honestly its the first netflix movie i genuinely enjoyed. Just an example - the movie Upgrade (2018) - it had subjectivly very bad scenes vs. very good scenes, but by the end it turned out great (also highly regarded movie by me). if you watched it - you'll know what i mean. Same with Polar.
