There is a book called “the many lives of mama love“ which is similar to this show’s storyline, of a real woman’s life in southern Cal. She stole the credit cards and money from her friends in their affluent neighborhood when she and her husband needed it for their heroin addiction. She was caught and went to jail and made a whole lot of friends in jail and turned her life around… but glorifying, finding humor, from stealing from your friends whether you’re rich or not I don’t know about that… I guess this is the stuff that happens in post capitalist societies… that are on the down slide
