When I saw the trailers, it left me intrigued because it shared just enough to convince me that it was something I wanted to see, but It never enough to confirm what it must be about.
It is a love story and a fantasy, which are clear enough from the trailers, but it never became clear what it all was about even after I saw it. That is not a complaint, as it was a profoundly satisfying film experience.
It is a story that is told as well as any story could be. It is told in several chapters, covering three thousand years as related in the title.
But I never knew what to expect from it. And I am not entirely able to relate to you, reading this, what you should expect from it.
Walking out of the theater was like waking up from a vividly colorful dream, trying desperately to remember every wonderful moment of the experience, while realizing that it was all, sadly, fading away.
I will watch this again, someday. It is an experience worth reliving.
