Sappy teen drama. Barely ties into the games. The characters are so badly written it's sad in a lot of ways. Main character is so bad it's hard to keep watching but I did just to see if it gets better. Sadly, it doesn't. Don't waste your time watching Netflix missed the mark entirely

First season is decent and it goes downhill from there. We don't need to know everything about non related football characters. The wife and daughter dialogue.... Ugh gossip girl or twilight level bs.Her teenage angst, was downright dreadful I skipped most scenes with the wife and daughter. 3 stars cuz I watched in 2024
