I know nothing about chess but I recognize a good story when I come across one. The Queen's Gambit is well acted, had an engaging plot line, and makes us care about the main character. I binge watched the entire thing in one sitting. The costumes and sets were well done, as well. Brava, Netflix!

I never read the book, so I don't really have experience with the original story, I was bored and disinterested with the earlier adaptations, and I have only seen this new ᑐᑌᑎᕮ on a 42" home tv screen via HBOMAX. All that being said..... WOW! This film by Dennis Villeneuve is so good I plan to watch it twice today. I definitely want to see Part 2 whenever that comes out. The visuals and music transported me to another world. 2 thumbs up for ᑐᑌᑎᕮ.
