I have read all of the Michael Connelly novels and loved them. But to make it even better Amazon Prime releases a series that captures the essence of those books and puts faces on the characters. Titus Welliver becomes Bosch and when I re-read the books he is the image of Bosch that I see. I love the entire cast and especially enjoy the “banter” between them. There is a sense of respect and fierce loyalty that is essential in law enforcement. There are multiple plots going on in every episode that feed into upcoming shows. Bosch’s love of jazz, his unique home above L.A., his endless knowledge of “where to eat” what food in the city, his tireless pursuit of the true all make this show a pleasure to watch.
