Somewhat disappointing! The constant swing between the author, director; the discordant ying/yang between the actors' reality as they jump the track laid down by the script all bring a constant kind of static that enforces the audience's disbelief in the whole drama, its fabric, its structure and its raison d'etre. If people read Thornton Wilder's plays in high school, 'By the Skin of Our Teeth', for example, this conceit is not that original and has been done better. Similarly the meddlesome switch between black and color media is supposed to drawn one back to the 1950s; i,e. Back to the future. Amusing, but even the inclusion of well known, Oscar winners makes me wish for a better cinematic vehicle.
