Intelligent, emotional and at times, absolutely terrifying. I'm not a fan of horror under normal circumstances and only decided to watch this because my girlfriend asked me to start watching the season together before bed. I decided to give it a try and my word, I'm glad I did. I specifically remember saying to her after watching 3 episodes (one after the other) that this was one of the best things I've ever seen, if not THE best thing I have ever seen. I really meant it too and I said that again after watching the full 10 episodes. In parts it scared me so much that I went cold from head to toe, in other parts it had me in tears from the pure emotion displayed, in part from the amazing acting on show and also from the way the show is just created in general. The whole feeling of this show oozes quality. I was always one of those people that assumed a TV show (or Netflix show) would somehow be inferior to Hollywood movies etc. The reality, is that shows like this in fact surpass movies. For someone like me who likes things like Harry Potter and avoids horrors all together, this was amazing.
