The Biblical reference is very accurate. The “god” only choose beautiful virgins to impregnate them, and the baby will be the salvation of the humanity while “mary” we're left with no choice but to sacrifice his own son.
I also love when the mother said “You can't even fuck me”, because really, God just magically impregnate Mary.

The soundtracks? The camera angles? The color grades? The symbolism? The plot? The tension?
I see this movie as a cosmic horror because of its existential crisis thingy, and a psychological horror. The sound engineering is very similar to annihilation which is also a cosmic horror.

Iconic, very liminal, and nostalgic. The soundtracks are perfect. The plot is very interesting and well-built. If you ain't feeling the movie, maybe you never experienced the feeling of being buried.

The plot is so interesting, the characters is well-built and the way that it gagged me everytime he quantum leap backwards is *chef kiss. And also the deeper you read it, the more it make sense. The revelations is so mind blowing. I love love love this book the way I love love love the THE TUNNEL TO SUMMER, THE EXIT OF GOODBYES but honestly this one is much sadder and traumatic and overall better built. 1000000000/10. I don't want to read the chapter 6 yet because I knew it's nearing the end and I don't want it to end.
