Interesting show with a great idea, but it lacked in true rehabilitation. Ok they opened the doors, but gave these men nothing of substance to do beside chores they already had. Crook, was already sober and focused on staying that way. Why not help him by setting him up with a substance abuse/mentoring program for when he got out? Randy, was definitely trying to help, but he was also quick to change up and make something happen when it didn't go his way. Seems like there was a slight change at the end but still no real growth on how to act outside of prison. If you watch the show closely the people that were getting out or that could get bonded out were calmer than those expected to stay in. Of course they would because they don't want to mess up their release.
3 stars because I watched it all. 1 star in reality because it's a partially good idea. Add a bit of schooling and trades. And be realistic if the sheriff saw what we saw the program would have been shut down in a day.
