I had such high hopes for this movie, i loved the first two and as well as the aftermath and omnibus comics. But what were they thinking. SPOLIERS: so the intro was okay but no where near being on par with the 28 days opening or especially the 28 weeks opening. Sadly the intro was the "best part" in the movie but even then it felt extremely rushed not to mention how they show the same 3 infected attack the kids magically show up coming through the room where the mom came from. Not to mention the same infected that broke the door open to the kids is later seen on the opposite side of the house past the church. Why werent the infected chasing jimmy?? And what was with the song choices for the movie they felt so out of place. dont even get me started on the pregnant infected which later holds hands with spikes mom during childbirth the idea that they are reproducing it makes no sense and contradicts the orignal concept of the rage virus which is surprising since its the original writer and director. Sure the alpha is ridiculous but is somewhat passable but how the hell do the "slowlows" variants make sense plotwise and branching from the rage virus. And then the ending made even less sense and came out of nowhere especially since jimmy isnt seen at all in the movie yet so much emphasis on him in the intro. Overall it felt like this movie was directed by 3 people or was trying to be a show due to all the subplots or plot holes. It strays away from the other movies heavily.
