I’m just gonna say it. This movie is a knock off of how to train your dragon. Even the sea monster looks like an off brand toothless. The characters switching sides faster than my mind can comprehend and some little kid just randomly becomes super wise and all knowing. Like one minute she hates sea monsters because they killed her parents and the next she’s like “they’re not all bad.” How did she know the monster was trying to save her btw? Like she was trying to kill it, she was in an extremely high stress situation, and then the thing swallowed her whole. Like idk but me personally I would have been very scared and probably think the most reasonable conclusion, “oh no this monsters trying to eat me.” Idk man just don’t watch this besides the visuals it’s just a waste of time.

Idk about y’all people who’re calling this movie overrated but me personally I loved it.

A beautiful and sad movie. There’s not enough words strong enough to describe it really you just have to watch it and see for yourself what makes this movie so great.

It’s so good bro. I could sit here and type out all the great things about this movie but I’ll just let you see for yourself. Definitely one of my favorites.

It was good(ish). I mean it was fun and there were a few moments that I felt some emotion (especially the scene with the old lady at the bus stop). I just felt like the message wasn’t delivered as well as it could’ve been delivered. I’m a girl so of course I agree with what this movie is saying but it just felt really forced and cringey sometimes. (Especially the mom I just couldn’t get myself to like her she was just so fake? If that makes sense) Also am I the only one who kinda felt bad for Ken? :,) Anyway it was a nice movie just not exactly what I was hoping for especially after hearing such good things about it. (Some people saying they were sobbing at the end) Its unique thought and has a good message (even if it wasn’t executed that well). All around I’d say it’s definitely… something. 😅

Incredible. Definitely one of my favorite movies ever. I’m also a musician and I could relate to a lot of things in the movie! (Of course my band director is not quite this extreme) The pacing and acting and music is awesome. There’s a lot of profanity though so if you’re sensitive I don’t recommend watching it. However if you don’t mind it then please do yourself a favor and watch this masterpiece I promise you won’t regret it :)

One of my favorite movies of all time! It’s so beautiful and emotional and just perfect all around. Plus I love space and the music was phenomenal. Please do yourself a favor and watch this masterpiece, trust me you won’t regret it :)

It’s a really good movie and very unique. Not much dialogue or music and really great acting. (Spoiler alert ‼️) The only things stopping me from rating it 5 stars is the fact that all my favorite characters died. :/ The ending also wasn’t very satisfying and I was just sitting there like, “that’s it?” I know it’s supposed to be that way and not every movie is some epic story with a happy ending. It’s more realistic but I guess it wasn’t exactly to my taste. It’s definitely an excellent movie though and you can tell how well made it is!
