I was hoping for a great experience with this installment in the franchise but was greatly disappointed. The previous series were very imaginative with the mythology and the relationships of the characters. Universe had some actors that I completely love, but I tired of all the cerebral and emotional anguish of the characters. I like action adventure like the movie and the first two series gave us. There was very little of that in Universe. I got very tired of all the bickering and back stabbing going on. I was either fast forwarding through episodes, or skipping scenes, and finally skipped several episodes altogether. I had been waiting for the time they would be able to control the ship, at last, and completely missed it because of skipping the episodes but didn't care enough to go back and see it. Sorry but it shouldn't take a year and a half for Rush or anyone else to figure it out. I was very disappointed. Had the producers followed the beloved formats we would probably be still seeing new episodes. It had that potential.
