Very surprised to see the overwhelming negative reviews.
I have enjoyed watching this film and following Paul's personal journey. There are many layers and meanings, perhaps about what does it mean to live a meaningful life, or to be left alone to face difficulties, to love and care, to find peace and happiness, reflections on social inequalities, as well as the inescapable links and dilemmas between finding ones own identity and belonging, between aloneness and connection.
The ending wraps it all up the crucial moment Paul makes a very important decision as he finds himself at a crossroads... And who's never been at a crossroads?
A thought provoking film perhaps for
those who can move beyond.
