cam was disturbing and brilliant, I think the reason the score for this movie is so split is because of the stigma around sex workers and sexualised content. I don't understand why you would watch a movie about a camgirl and not expect to see sexual content? That's where most of the horror comes from, and I think it's only getting more relevant (what with the world of deep fake porn). I also doubt men would get as much of a reaction out of this movie. As a woman, it was terrifying, but men don't have to deal with creeps and stalking (as often), so i would imagine it's harder to put themselves in the protagonists position. All in all, Cam is a great horror movie about identity, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to be disturbed.
