Supposed to be a lgBtq themed movie but where is the btq? Seems no one in the movie, not the gays or straights or cast or crew, at any point acknowledged Harper's bisexuality. Which to me makes this kind of a comedic tragedy. I think this was to add comedy but really seemed to be pretty anti Bi and just stopped at LG themed in its awareness or respectfulness of Harper's actual sexuality.. like they just wanted her on one side or the other they couldn't handle Harper co-mingling or being bi and promiscuous for a minute. A couple really funny spots in the middle and Daniel Levy and Mary Holland deserve a lot of props for adding great comic relief and a little levity to what really comes off as a misconstrued and misunderstood (unmentioned bi) protagonist getting pushed and swayed and certainly not allowed to be in a relationship with a girl and a guy at the same time at any point whatsoever. The big takeaway to me was like dang the gays want bis in the closet more than the straights. Thank the supporting actors for the 4 stars.
