I like the Show and the regular guests and commentators. However, recently the language about Ukraine has become triumphalist and ridiculous. With the exception of Ignatius and Haass, among the regular commentators, everybody is so excited to report some new detail to Joe for his blessing, that it sounds like they are calling the last 60 seconds of an NCAA championship b-ball game. The war is not over. Don't people remember the Soviets pushed all the way to Berlin in 1945 with policy of any soldier who stopped or retreated, for whatever reason was shot. The Russian concern for loss of life, either by Russian or Ukrainians, is minimal. More importantly, although they aren't publicizing it, China has A LOT invested in the success of Russia in this fight, and that means unlimited resources.
