Add to your Christmas classics; it's a gem.

It is one of the rare, insightful movies which mirrors the story as represented by the book of the same name. Progression is slower than it needs to be but delivers in the end and gives you an overall feeling of sadness as you realize it is all to common a story. My recommendation would be to read the book and then check out Bryan Stevenson's website and the Equal Justice Initiative.
