I finally bought this after two years. So you are getting my review from that perspective. The game punishes new players by locking 90% of the equipment in the game behind milestones (achievements). This artificial disadvantage leaves you struggling against players that not only have more time under their belt, but also have a multitude of advantages. That range from increased health, faster recovery, faster skill cool down and superior weapons.
This is also another modern title that heavily favors the shooter. Even with low ping you will often find yourself seemingly shot through or around objects. It feels clunky and immersion breaking.
This was a horrible idea from the onset and leaves the title with poor longevity as it is off putting for new players.
The single player portion of the game is completely forgettable. It has a few moments when it looks like something interesting may happen, then it falls flat. Leaving you with no details as to why several major characters are up to. Feels like Disney gave them very little creative license here.
After you claw your way past all of this. You will find a barely passable third person shooter that is riddled with problems that make you ask "why".
