Amelia Curd

One of my favourite tv series, full of action, desperation, with cut sequences to the past to make sense of the tense relationship dynamics in the present that are so introspective and raw, a little bit like past as poetry. Makes me feel like I’m watching someone embody a Joan Didion story. Love the complex female characters. Somehow they made all this complicated story line funny. Also whoever did set design, wow, that house is amazing and I dream of that pool.

It was awesome, somehow the most realistic relationships with the most extra characters.

Beautifully done! You feel like you're in her head as she tries to figure out life. She's not perfect, life's not perfect, but there are these important people, moments and decisions that make up a life and this film translates that really well.
