First I’d like to say, if you’ve experienced anything remotely similar to the situations expressed in this movie whether you like the flick or not… congratulations you’ve connected with this film. With that being said this is a hard watch, in a sense that it makes you face emotions that you may have not have dealt with fully when you had your rough experience with love and the effects of infidelity. Definitely an eye opening experience. Why? I believe it offers the opportunity to get inside your ex partner’s head. Offers a sense of closer if you will… For it only to be one hour, forty four minutes, it was most CERTAINLY an experience. My first notion was to say the plot felt a bit rushed. I felt like the director could’ve went deeper, because there are so many unanswered questions. As contradicting as it may sound, I believe where the mind is left to wonder is why this is a cinematic masterpiece. Every time you begin to develop feelings for a set of characters and a sense of consistency is built up there’s a turn in the road. Subsequently and successfully emulating the hardships of love. More specifically what each of the characters were feeling. You’d be watching Anna and Dan and the feelings of Alice and Larry seem to fade away. Vice Versa. It’s exactly what I believe they were feeling in the movie. As long as they were happy in that moment, that is all that mattered until reality brought them back down. There so many different angles you could attack this. This is all for now. Can’t wait until I find this movie again in a few years. Would definitely recommend you watch!
