I started watching it because I like Mel Gibson, but after 20 minutes I realized it was a dark, twisted version of Santa Clause. It was disturbing to me. When I watch Christmas movies I want a traditional version of Christmas, not this ugly, sordid iteration. This time the critics were correct in giving it a low rating. I just can't believe there's a couple of people that thought it was the best Xmas movie ever. That says a lot about the state of this world.

I just enjoyed it very much. It was really an amazing experience. I loved that they recounted Victor Frankenstein's story from the time of his childhood which gives you an understanding of why he evolved into the scientist he became. Del Toro added his own take from the original novel or previous iterations especially the creature's appearance but somehow it worked really well. The acting, cinematography, music score was out of this world. The actor that portrayed the creature did a great job in projecting his emotions from anger to sadness and loneliness. Never heard from him before but I'm sure he'll be noticed after this performance. Overall, bravo!! Don't miss The Anatomy of the movie portion that comes right after the ending of the movie. Very Interesting.

I can't believe the low ratings given to this gem of a movie. I was intrigued from the get go. Maybe factually exaggerated, but nonetheless the period costumes and the depiction of life in Amsterdam in the 17th c. was spot on. I thought the plot was very creative and had me glued until the very end. I just enjoyed it immensely and would definitely recommend it. 😃

A truly beautiful epic historical love story. I also loved the references to Christianity that carried through the entire plot. It was engaging and uplifting. The themes of true love, redemption, forgiveness and hope reverbarated throughout. I wish they made more movies like this. I had tears in my eyes @ the end and rarely cry. Well done! 🙌

I love political dramas, and was looking forward to this one, but very disappointed with the unbelievable plot and the woke agenda. Netflix stop with woke!! I dont know why you insist in having wokeness ruin projects.

I don't understand why Netflix would adapt a book with historical figures and content and turn it into a DEI mess. I love period dramas, but I love the fact that they follow and honor its past. You cannot change history. But, of course, Hollywood can always fictionalize anything, that's true. (And the author must have agreed to it.) But as a lover of history, I don't much care for that. It's a shame because if they had followed the book it would have been magical. But unfortunately they had to ruin it in this Era of DEI. I'm grateful all the period dramas dating back to this one followed its rich history. 😊

Untamed is a gripping murder mystery that keeps you hooked trying to untangle a web of clues that can lead to the truth. To add to this tension the characters have their own personal traumas to contend with. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find out that even though the setting is supposedly Yosemite, real filming and all the magnificent cinematography took place in Vancouver B.C. Canada. Overall an excellent murder mystery.

Just loved this series. I was glued to it from start to finish. Great plot twists. Magnificent characters and a great setting. The entire group had great chemistry and complemented the grump and rude lead detective played brilliantly by Matthew Goode. Not too many thrillers as good as this these days. I'm just hoping there are more seasons to come. Let's ho Netflix, make it happen.

This is so beautiful! I just came back from Thailand and visited an elephant sanctuary where they take very good care of them. Each of them have a person personally responsible for them. I got a chance to feed them and play with them. Such sweet animals! This movie reminded me of my trip. Great memories and beautifully recounted documentary ❤️
