Could not enjoy the movie as the dialogs are not audible due to loud and excessive background music. Songs are worst and has to watch the movie in low sound to avoid loud back ground music. Very bad loud back ground music and very poor re-mixing of music. One of the worst movie. All Tamizh movies are with loud back ground music, very poor dialogue delivery and inaudible. After watching this movie I had a very bad headache due to back ground music. Don’t know when our Tamizh people will learn to take movies without back ground music.

A very beautiful movie with a simple story of children from a village, enjoying the simplest things in life. No TV, no IPad, no mobile. What a healthy simple life. Nostalgic remembrance of our old life during 60’s and 70’s. Longing to go back to the old innocent days. Must watch movie, specially the city bred children, who don’t know the real life. Superb movie, enjoyed so much. Will watch again. All the actors, especially the children with practically nil acting experience, the main attraction is the drunkard’s performance. Almost the whole units’ performance is too good. Thank God no love scenes unimaginable in this film. The innocent enjoyment is the utmost.

Film very badly directed but could have been better if the plot was handled better. Nowadays all Tamil films audio is worst as most of the dialogs delivered is not audible and dialog delivery should improve, since none of the actresses deliver their dialog and mostly it is dubbed. The background music in Tamil films are a big headache. Background music is very loud. Best is read the story in Wikipedia and close the audio in the film. Badly directed film. Worst film

Beautiful and excellent film. Very thoughtful film. Excellent acting by The Late Nallandi as Mayandi and Vijay Sethupathi. The whole village have done their roles marvellously. Kudos to the Director and the music director, good background music. Thanks for not having any loud background music while dialogs are spoken. Only drawback is the money lenders and the people who have taken the land from farmers for commercialisation have not been shown as being punished. Good message given in the film but still we will not learn any lesson from such kind of films.

One of the best film of Dhanush and Mari Selvaraj. Saw it today (14.05.1021) in Amazon Prime Video. Superb acting by Dhanush and Lal. The story, direction, acting, songs all are excellent. The impact of this movie is so much that I have a feeling that I am physically present in the village and unable to forget the scenes. There are no words to express my feelings. Really superb and thanks to Mari Selvaraj, Dhanush and Lal and other casts. Waiting for another film from this group.
