This is one of my least favorite things I've watched, and I wish I could take back the time I wasted watching it. I watched it on 2x speeds to squander the pain, but it still sucked so much. The story was cringe, the random kpop songs were cringe (randomly placed, didn't fit in anywhere), the LGBTQ propaganda was cringe (I have nothing wrong with LGBTQ+ but cmon, who falls in love with someone who bullied them and ruined their 6+ years relationship?), the acting was cringe, the lines were cringe, the teenage drama was cringe and it was seriously just not a good show at ALL. They managed to ruin "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" by adding on a mediocre sequel, and then a horrid third movie, and then went on to take (imo) the most annoying character from the films into her own Koreaboo tv show. Why was everyone obsessed with Kitty when she was annoying and always talking about things that no one cared about? She was not a good matchmaker at all. Her relationship with Dae was so cringe. I could buy Elon Musk's companies with every dollar I got for every time Dae said "I can explain". I hate how when you try and search up Kdramas on Netflix (fantastic kdramas like: My Name or Hometown Cha Cha Cha), you instead get XO, KITTY, sitting there in the recommendations. That's a crime in itself. The situationship part between redhead and Minho was also super cringe and stupid, and that redhead (y'all know who I'm talking about) was so annoying, and I'm so freaking angry that she got to meet Taecyeon before me when she had the AUDACITY to be that annoying and speak Korean uncomfortably. The storyline with Kitty's mom was also mad stupid, and how the other lady had a baby with the teacher and now he was Kitty's teacher. I found that to be extremely dumb. The partying scenes seemed realistic and Yuri's dejaying really wasn't all that good. Yuri was also super mean, (with stiff acting I'm sorry) and the way they made Kitty Lesbian/Bi for her was so useless--like nothing led up to it. I felt like the school was unrealistic, and the way Kitty slept in the boy's dorm was literally just the writer's trying to grasp for any sort of forced storyline. The dancing scene was dumb how Kitty's skirt caught on fire and then literally no one, including adults tried to help her. How did Kitty literally break into a random hospital in a different country and randomly find her mothers files immediately. Realistic right? Why did Yuri offer a ride to school for Kitty when she hit(?) her with her car. Who gets hit by a car and then starts talking about something nobody cares about (her mom and KISS) and then asks for a ride to school??? I DON'T KNOW. Why didn't Kitty learn barely any Korean? Why was Dae's family so poor when his father literally worked for a very wealthy Chaebol family???? One part I thought was funny is when that French dude cheated. Heh. Why did Yuri not want Dae to tell Kitty that they were in a fake relationship. IT MADE NOOOOOO SENSE. It wouldn't have hurt her at all. Why did the entire story shift to the stupid romances when she literally flew to SK in the first place to learn more about her mom? ONE OF THE WORST PARTS THOUGH OHHHHHHH, was when Kitty stood on the table at lunch and gave a whole speech (in english too??) about her mom that nobody actually cared about. Like miss gurl, it's not a Disney Channel movie. Gosh I really hated this show. This show and The Summer I Turned Pretty compete for the worst teen show released recently. ALSO I'M GEN-Z AND THIS SHOW STILL SUCKED SCUM!
