After completing the game I am changing my review from a 2 out of 5 to a 1 out of 5. They kill Joel who with Ellie basically makes the game. You are forced to play as another character aside from Joel and Ellie. You don't even get a chance to play as Joel. You are forced to play 2/3 of the game as Joel's killer. Abby kills a lot of Ellie's friends including her father figure Joel and then bites Ellies fingers off to where she can't play the guitar which is something Joel taught her and she enjoyed doing. Ellie chooses not to get revenge at the end just when I thought there would have been a little bit of redemption, all of it just does not make any sense at all. Also there were a lot of trailers leading up to this game that made it look like Joel was alive and did not die. You can look those trailers up. Example Joel putting his hand around Ellie's mouth, in the game it was not Joel. Showing clips of flash backs of Ellie and Joel and making it look like it was present day. Showing Ellie playing her guitar and singing then Joel steps into the room. None of that stuff actually happened in the game yet they showed it in the trailers leading up to the game. That is false advertisement plain and simple. If you never played the first then you might be able to like this game. On the other hand if you played the first game then you will hate The Last Of Us 2 in my opinion.
