Judy Lim – Google

This series was super intelligent and sexy. The characters had depth and the plots kept you guessing. With most series that you have to wait for the last season after a long hiatus, you lose the excitement and anticipation. But not with How to Get Away with Murder. It was psychological anticipation at its best. I grew to Love, sympathize, and respect Analise aka Viola Davis. I would recommend it to anyone who is open minded and ready for a whirlwind adventure in the world of criminal law. I actually cried at the end- that’s how engaged I became. So sad it’s over...10/10

With great expectations for Joker, I went to see the movie on a cold autumn night. From the beginning, when Joaquin was shown sitting at his makeup table with his smile on an obviously unhappy face, I was mesmerized. I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen for the 2 hour movie. I believe that Arthur Fleck (Joaquin River), was in almost every scene of the film. It was a hauntingly beautiful story about how the Joker came to fruition. I would watch it again in a heartbeat.

I just saw the movie...with no expectations. And I couldn’t wait for the story to actually start to get interesting at first ( I thought I made a mistake and should’ve seen Venom or Bohemian Rapsody instead...) SPOILER ALERTS!!! Then the super long, detailed violent first scene came, along with the endless dance sequences. It did start to form somewhat of a story line soon after, but was confusing as heck (I had never seen the 1st original). Dakota was good enough for the part, but was not engaging enough, a bland, monotone character if you ask me. But Madam Blanc made up for it. She was incredibly believable and quite enchanting, in an eerie way of course. After the movie, I read that the actress played 3 parts, all amazingly well (didn’t know it was her). I would nominate her for best-supporting actress. There was so much rain and snow, but litte comic relief, that came in the form of one of the witches in dark sunglasses... It seemed unecessary and cheapened the movie (they should have left the glasses out). I’d give it a 2.5/4. Anyway, long story short, the movie was EXTRA long, and maybe if I had had expectations, I wouldn’t have liked it at all. But if you like gore and artsy cinematics, it’s right up your alley. I didn’t care to stay after the credits, but it seems there’s an after credits scene ( maybe you can tell me if I missed out?) BTW- does anyone know what Susie secretly took from the desk when she and Sara were snooping around? And I’d like to get my hands on one of those red rope numbers. Any suggestions where?
