This show is very good. Jenna Ortega is amazing as always, I liked Gomez even though some people feel he was miscast. The set was brilliant and the special effects were overall good, except for a few moments where I laughed at loud at just how animated it looked. The plot with Enid was very predictable but aside from that I definitely do not agree with the people who said this show was predictable. There were twist at every corner and it kept me on my toes the whole time I watched it. From the beginning I did not trust Bianca, the counselor or the principal but the show definitely proved me wrong. The broad vocabulary that was used by Wednesday fit her character well but was a bit too much to really understand what she was trying to say. Bianca’s side plot was confusing and unnecessary. In my opinion there was a bit too much going on throughout the whole show, though almost everything came full-circle at the end. They would explain who a character was once and then talk about them only referring to them as there name, constantly. This left me wondering who they were talking about. There were points where I just looked up the name on Google to find their character description but instead just got spoilers. The beauty of it was, though, that when they gave spoilers, I had no idea who they were talking about anyways. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise, idk. I seem like I am bashing the show but aside from a few things that I did not like, it was very good. I enjoyed watching it and I liked the long- episode format. I will watch the next season as soon as it premieres. If you made it this far into this review, thank you and I hope this was useful to you for some odd reason.
