Maybe I am going against the grain, but it’s a bit like a pizza with every topping available. I do not deny that it is a visual masterpiece and utterly stunning, however by throwing everything into the mix it loses the purity and thread of the central storyline and seems to be unnecessarily self indulgent and self conscious in a way that it predecessor was. The best of the genre tend to have a central protagonist and/or a central plank. It was also quite exhausting.
