Movie sucked. Unnecessary new character that is a witch? Like what in the world is that lame thing and she’s the main bad guy that turns to be good? So stupid. Not like original at all. Missed all the good things from original movie, from characters, quotes, songs, like no songs really? It did not felt like a Disney movie at all. Felt like a fake. $30.00 I completely wasted. If I could give a 0 I would. That’s how bad it was. Just reading people saying it was great, that concerns me because they have a lack of understanding and taste. The actors were even overreacting in some parts. For people that have seen the real Mulan and like it the way it is, this movie tells you that the writers were thinking this: “We don’t like basically anything from the original so we will change mostly anything and make a new thing and call it a remake”. The entire point of making a movie live action is to keep the essence of the original. If you want to make a completely different thing then just title it differently and don’t waste other people’s money and time.
