A movie with the heart in the right place and passion for sci fi world building that falls a bit short in the story telling. It is as if one person making this movie loves making stories about personal growth and no feel for sci-fi and the other was a huge sci fi nerd but struggling with the personal stuff. It has amazing moments and also moments where it just felt rushed and well like these two made compromises that made no one happy. I hope they learned from it though becuase this kind of unashamed sci fi world building is exactly what we need and I hope they make more if they learn from their mistakes.
