Sophie Fatale

One of my favorite films of all. I love the story line and the depiction of the afterlife. I think it has whimsy and dreamlike scenarios, along with what is conceived as a dark, purgatorial realm.

I came across this series, because I watched an edit about The Possession (1981) I thought it was riveting, i didn’t read what it was about nor did I watch any other trailer. I watched it at night, alone. I was hooked, I couldn’t stop watching, eventually by 3am I went to sleep, I had a dream about this and I woke up at 7am, and made breakfast and binged watched the rest of the series that day. There were scenes that were so beautiful, it stayed with me. Later on, I found art comparisons to those scenes. I loved this series, it was refreshing and haunting. The actor Hamish Linklater, was exceptional, provoking, captivating. I wish it continued for a few more seasons. I’ve recommended this series to all my friends.
