If you look at most of the Marvel pictures that have failed miserably over the last 5+ years, the common themes are woke pandering and (the biggest reason for failure) directors who aren't (weren't) comic book fans. This F4 movie is a disaster. From start to finish it was boring, slow, written on a 5th grade level of comprehension, and predictable. Reed's constant and bland statements feel robotic and forced. He's a stick figure in his own movie. Sue is a superhero? Finally. Only Disney could pull that off. Johnny is a caricature of himself and poorly acted. The Thing? Plot filler.
Galactus was nerfed worse that Thor in these Disney films. It was something worse than emasculation to watch what they did to one of the most powerful beings in the Universe. Good job, Sue! This movie should have been a 6 part Marvel Series on Disney Plus.
