TLDR: Horrible. I’m not even a die hard fan. If you’re a horror buff this movie is insulting to your intelligence. - One of the worst horror movies I’ve seen in the last few years. And easily the worst TCM of all time. Every single character except two was absolutely repulsive, annoying and impossibly stupid. My god. The stereotype of “all city folks are soft and ignorant and rude” was alive and well. So heavy handed. And holy product placement. The only good characters were Leatherface and his mom. The one star is for Leatherface. He’s basically a tactical genius. And a great dancer. He was just really on it and snappy for an elderly gentleman. Really great with all his tactical moves. *chefs kiss* My only complaint about him is that there was basically no torture specifically in this movie. I usually can’t do gore so I can’t believe I’m saying that. And the kills were so repetitive and boring. They all were too similar. Did I mention Leatherface is excellent at anatomy? Knows where every major artery is like a surgeon. I’d say skip this.

Worst movie I’ve ever seen in my life. However the effects were so hilarious I almost suffocated from laughter. So one star for that 😂

Better than I expected. Family movie. Nephew loved it! It’s meant for kids.
