We have all heard about Netaji and his Indian National Army. How many have thought about the lakhs who laid their lives in the battlefield, dreaming of an Independent India? The unnamed, the forgotten, who were even refused a chance to join the army of independent India? The numerous civilians who donated down to their last savings so that India could be free? A wonderful series, a timely work. It could have been.more detailed, with Kabir Khan having made a fabulous documentary on the same subject 20 years ago. Nonetheless, a great and timely salute to the Forgotten heroes.
