Story is decent, captures the mood really well and visually its brilliantly made (althought the dialog does drag on a bit).
However, there is a major, glaring flaw that's too hard to ignore. The combat system is completely rudimentary. It doesn't require much skill at all, and as the game progresses, instead of forcing you to think more, in order to defeat enemies, they just become damage sponges. I assume this is intended to make the game appear difficult, but it doesn't. God of War made the same mistake on the hardest setting and in actuality, it just means that it takes longer to do anything and the repetition begins to feel tedious pretty quickly. Spent most of my time button bashing square and got on completely fine. Several times i didn't even have to look at the screen to beat enemies, which would be impossible in a game with challenging combat.
A decent find considering I'd heard nothing about it but the emphasis on making the game flashy, over technical, difficult combat really does take it down several stars for me unfortunately.
